The process of making art can easily be undervalued, especially by the artist themselves.  I sometimes have taken for granted the years I’ve spent getting to the point where I can effortlessly  communicate ideas with pictures.  In the project below, the various designs are right side heavy in order to leave space on the left side for copy.  Once the client decides which option works best with the content, I develop a more elaborate sketch and add color. These few drawing show the idea of my process but there are more drawings that explain the evolution of the final piece. I get to see an idea turn into a moment, a story, a video game, a film, a comic book, and so much more.  I love my job!
